Landscapes

These landscapes began when I found myself drifting through fond memories of living in Guyana, South America and of my life living in Yorkshire. This series connects two very different worlds though my mind’s eye with a deep joy that the nature world brings me. Some memories, in part, are fantasy and these occasionally slip into the landscapes we see in our lives.

I deliberately used only MS Paint (yep, that old PC program) and a mouse to create the works. I thoroughly enjoyed the cumbersome, restrictive nature of the medium and the unwieldily results it brought.
